Vector Biolabs is partner in gene delivery. Their extensive AAV product catalog includes options for over 29,000 human genes, 27,000 mouse genes, and 6,000 rat genes. They also offer a variety of specialized tools, such as fluorescent reporters, Cre/FLP recombinases, calcium sensors, and optogenetic reporters.
By default, their overexpression AAV products are driven by a CMV promoter, but they provide customization options to suit your research needs. Choose from over 50 ubiquitous or tissue/cell-specific promoters, with or without a fluorescent reporter (e.g., GFP, RFP, mCherry). For shRNA AAV products, they utilize a U6 promoter.
AAV control products
There are three primary factors to take into consideration when selecting the control AAV: the AAV serotype, the promoter, and the reporter. Ideally, you would use the control with the same serotype and the same promoter as the AAV expressing your GOI/shRNA/sgRNA. Vector Biolabs has several popular AAV control products.
