Fresh human peripheral blood buffy coat produced from fresh whole blood from a female donor collected in Vacutainers containing K2EDTA anticoagulant. The buffy coat is produced by centrifugation of 200 ml whole blood. Total final volume is typically 10 ml. Blood comes from a healthy donor aged between 18-66. Donors are screened and tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and C and Syphilis. The buffy coat is stored and shipped under ambient conditions. The buffy coat is shipped overnight to arrive the day after collection. These products are for use in Biomedical Research only. They are not to be used for any form of human treatment, or for any purpose that is prohibited by law, including any use for human reproductive cloning.
