Cytokine that may be involved in epidermal function and psoriasis. Acts through STAT3. (www.uniprot.org) Produced in E.coli. Single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids. The biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent activation of STAT3 in human epidermal keratinocytes (HEK2a cells).
