Propargylcholine (bromide)
Propargylcholine is an alkynyl derivative of choline that has a propargyl group in place of one methyl group.{47048} It can be used to assay phospholipid synthesis and localization in cells and tissues using Raman scattering microscopy or click chemistry labeling with fluorescent or affinity-tagged azides.{47048,47045,47046} Propargylcholine also inhibits growth of P. aeruginosa on dimethylglycine (IC50 = 5.16 ?M), choline, and glycine betaine.{47047}
