Anti-Ornithine Decarboxylase rabbit polyclonal, serum
Ornithine decarboxylase is the rate-limiting enzyme in polyamine biosynthesis converting ornithine into putrescine. In normal tissue ornithine decarboxylase activity is low but increases in proliferating tissue. Absorption with 10 –100 µg immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining. Positive control: Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of renal cortex from testosterone-treated mice.
