Voglibose
Voglibose is an inhibitor of ?-glucosidases (IC50s = 5.6, 0.11, 0.16, and 0.07 µM for human lysosomal ?-glucosidase and rat maltase, isomaltase, and sucrase, respectively).{22626} It is selective for human ?- over ?-glucosidase (IC50 = >1,000 ?M). Voglibose (0.2 mg/kg) decreases body weight and food intake in sucrose-loaded Goto-Kakizaki (GK) type 2 diabetic rats.{49506}
