H2A undergoes various post-translational modifications, including acetylation, phosphorylation, methylation, and ubiquitination, which occur in response to various stimuli and directly affect the accessibility of chromatin to transcription factors. This gene is mainly expressed on blood, brain, breast and it plays a significant role in the disease, riddle syndrome.
